Description

The IR-1D is a miniature digital inductive covert earpiece with hard squelch that uses a 10A battery and features a rocking battery tray/power switch.

The digital range of inductive earpieces utilise sophisticated micro DSP digital electronics, incorporating a hard squelch algorithm to help reduce unwanted interference noise in the absence of an input signal. The IR-1D has been designed with symmetrical contours so it may be worn in either ear comfortably for long durations. The hard squelch ensures that constant noise without signal is reduced.

The IR-1D uses a 10A zinc air battery. The battery tray functions as an on/off switch to increase the battery life. The device features a low battery alert, and will beep 3 times when the battery needs replacing. It features a generic fit, designed to fit comfortably either left or right ear over long durations.
