How
to make a purchase:
The Puretone Online
Trade Shop can be navigated by using the category
buttons to browse by category of product or by using
the seach bar to find individual items. Once you
have navigated to a product you wish to purchase,
click on the buy button, which will add the item
to your online shopping basket. If you wish to add
more than one of the item to your basket, change
the quantity box next to the buy button from 1 to
the quantity of your choice. Quantities can also
be changed on the basket screen.
When using the search
bar, products can be located using their name or
by entering their unique Puretone order code. The
search engine will display the first 20 entries
for the term entered into the search bar. If you
cannot find the item because of this, please enter
a more specific term or product name into the search
bar to bring the number of results returned to below
20. Once you have located the correct item in the
search results page, click on the item name to link
to that products page.
To view the contents
of your basket, click on the view basket buttons
on the right or top menu bars.
Once you have finished
adding items to your shopping basket, click the
checkout button to continue to the checkout screen
where payment and delivery details can be completed.
Customers with a Puretone account
number can enter it at the checkout to have their purchases invoiced
to their account. Simply type your account number in the box at
the checkout that says Puretone Account Number, under Other Information.
The order will then appear on your next account invoice.
Once you have entered your payment
details and submitted them, we will process your order. If you made a mistake on the forms, please
contact us via email or telephone
as soon as possible to
amend your order. A conformation email will then be sent to your
email address. This is your receipt, please keep it for future reference.
Once the order has been processed by us, we will send you a confirmation
email confirming the dispatch of your goods. This forms a legal
contact of sale.
Security:
Our online shop
facility uses a secure server for transactions, so you can place
orders with confidence. A small padlock will show in the bottom
right corner of your browser when you reach the checkout. This means
the page is SSL secured and your information is being protected.
Troubleshooting:
Please
read the following carefully if you are having problems
using the Puretone Online Trade Shop:
In some cases, the settings of your
web browser will stop the Puretone Online Trade
Shop from working correctly. The most common problem experienced
is not being able to add any products to your
shopping basket and the shopping basket showing as empty. This is normally caused by the settings on your
web browser, mainly with JavaScript being disabled, Cookies being
disabled, or the security
settings being set too high.
The Puretone Online Trade Shop needs
Javascript and Cookies to be enabled for items to be added to the basket. Certain
levels of security on Internet Explorer can also cause items not
be added correctly. Please check your settings in your internet
browser if you are experiencing problems with adding items to the
basket.
In Microsoft Internet
Explorer, these settings can be changed by clicking
'Tools' from the top menu, then clicking on 'Internet
Options'. Please check the levels of privacy and
security by clicking on the tabs at the top.
Also, when adding items to the basket, please make sure
the quantity is set to 1 or above, overwise the item will not be
added to the basket.
Cookies enable
us to recognise your browser and provide the 'remember me' feature
at the checkout and for the continue shopping button to remember
the last page you visited before you entered the
basket page. If cookies are not enabled in your browser, then
this feature will not work. When using a shared computer, remember
to logout when you are finished.
