Keeping an ear on the noise level

As part of day to day business, Puretone become involved with many aspects of hearing and hearing related issues, including industrial noise and noise in the workplace. For this reason Puretone have introduced three new products to their already extensive range, offering consumers and management the ability to monitor ambient noise with ease. SoundEar provides a clear visible indication of when the ambient noise level exceeds either 80 dB or 92dB (selectable) providing the location with a constant noise monitoring process. SoundEar 2000 has a variable threshold meter (adjustable between 40dB and 115dB) increasing the scope of the instrument, encompassing the more industrial applications. Additionally PocketEar, a revolutionary new design incorporating both a sound level meter, and a pair of ear-plugs ready for immediate use.
