In February Puretone Ltd, of Rochester, Kent, was
honoured by a visit from Mr Nigel Griffiths, the Minister with responsibility
for Small Businesses in the U.K. This auspicious event was covered heavily by
the BBC on both Radio and Television.
The main reason for the Minister's visit was his
interest in Puretone as a Small to Medium sized Enterprise. Puretone represents
success in growth in the domestic UK market, and huge success in the
International arena:- they currently export to over 55 countries around the
world…an admirable feat for a "small company".
The Minister enjoyed an informal lunch, with
interesting debate surrounding the difficulties faced by small businesses in an
industry dominated by multi-national organizations. The Minister was clear in
his position regarding his support for small businesses, and promised to
continue his fight to provide even further support where possible through his
Department.
